Born in 1965. She received a teaching diploma in mathematics, descriptive geometry, and computer science from Kossuth Lajos University in 1988. In 1995, she earned a doctoral univ. degree in mechanical engineering sciences from the University of Miskolc. In 2008, she defended her PhD dissertation, entitled "Manufacturing Geometry Development of Kinematic Drive Pairs," with a degree summa cum laude. She habilitated in 2017, the title of her thesis book is Manufacturing Geometry Development of Connected Surface Pairs with Descriptive Geometry Applications. She has been an assistant professor at the Department of Descriptive Geometry at the University of Miskolc since 1989, an assistant professor since 2005, and an associate professor since 2009. Between 2013 and 2017, she served as the Vice Rector for Studies at the University of Miskolc. During that time, her activities included establishing the Student Centre and launching the University of Miskolc's Ecumenical Open Days. She is a member of several professional organisations, including the Mechanical Engineering Scientific Committee within the Department of Engineering Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the International Society for Geometry and Graphics, and is also the chairman of the Scientific Department of the county organisation of the Bolyai János Mathematical Society. From 2021, she is the head of the research group of the Worm Gear Drives Scientific School and Theoretical Research Workshop, within which she leads the mathematical geometry research. In addition to numerous colleagues related to the research group through their work, the young, active members include Dr. Zoltán Mándy, Dr. József Ábel, and mechanical engineering students Anna Molnár and Dániel Guba. For talented young students, she is the organiser of the Géza Petrich Descriptive Geometry Competitions.
