Jakiya Sultana’s research focuses on the development and optimization of Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) printed composites, incorporating natural fibres and carbon fibres to enhance mechanical properties and sustainability. She explores material formulations, process parameters, and multi-objective optimization techniques to achieve superior performance in strength, durability, and environmental impact. A key aspect of her work involves understanding the fibre-matrix interactions and their influence on the final composite properties. Additionally, she employs advanced computational and experimental methods to refine the manufacturing process and expands the applicability of these composites in various industries. Through this research, she aims to contribute to the advancement of sustainable and high-performance additive manufacturing solutions. Her supervisor is Gyula Varga, PhD.
