Born in 1935. Graduated as a mechanical engineer in 1959 at Technical University of Heavy Industry. Worked between 1959 and 1961 at the Light Machine Factory of Miskolc as a plant engineer and later a production engineer. He was an assistant lecturer and later a senior lecturer at University of Miskolc between 1961 and 1995. Doctor univ. in 1987. From 1995 he participates in educational and research works of Institute of Manufacturing Science as contracted pensioner. He is honorary associate professor from 2014. Specializations: machining tribology, increasing wear life of tribological systems, use of mechanical plastic coatings in machining of machine parts and modernizing renovation.
