He was born in 1975. He graduated as a mechanical engineer in 1998 and as an engineer-economist in 2000 at the University of Miskolc. He worked at the Institute of Logistics at the University of Miskolc from 1998 to 31st of August 2021. He was a PhD student till 2001 and assistant lecturer till 2005. He earned Ph.D. degree in the Mechanical Engineering Branch of Science („summa cum laude”) in the research topic of “Design and optimization of engineering structures” in the research group “Design of engineering structures at the Institute of Logistics in 2005. He was an assistant professor since 2005 and an associate professor since 2008. He was the deputy head of the Department of Materials Handling and Logistics from 2006 to 2019, then deputy director of the Institute of Logistics. He obtained the habilitation certificate in the Informatics Branch of Science in the science field of Logistics in March of 2021 in the research field of “Optimization and efficiency improvement of logistics systems, processes and equipment”. He was an associate professor at the Institute of Manufacturing Science from 2021 and a full professor from the 1st of September 2022. He is a lecturer and supervisor at both the István Sályi Doctoral School of Mechanical Engineering Sciences and the József Hatvany Doctoral School of Information Science. His research fields: Optimization and efficiency improvement of manufacturing processes and related logistics processes.
