Frezgi Tesfom was born in 1984 in Adi Feyau, Eritrea. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the former Eritrean Institute of Technology now Mainefhi College of Engineering and Technology in 2009. He worked as a technical school teacher at Maihabar Technical School from 2009-2012, as a graduate assistant then later as an assistant lecturer from 2012 to 2016, and as a lecturer from 2018 to 2021 at Mainefhi College of Engineering and Technology. Frezgi studied his master’s in mechanical engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China between 2016 and 2018. He was admitted as a doctoral student in 2021 to István Sályi Doctoral School and his research area is surface roughness modelling , analysis, and optimization. Supervisor: Dr. Csaba Felhő
