Tanuj Namboodri earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from COER University, India, and completed a Master’s program at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and at the University of Miskolc. His research focuses on advancing manufacturing technologies, particularly improving machined surface quality. He has worked on intelligent manufacturing, cutting force and vibration analysis, and AI-based predictive modeling. His PhD project aims to develop real-time surface roughness measurement and prediction methods, contributing to smarter, cost-efficient machining processes and enhanced product quality in modern manufacturing systems. His supervisor is Csaba Felhő, PhD. His co-supervisor is István Sztankovics, PhD.
