Course objectives: |
Presentation of the types, characterisation, transport, loading and storage of bulk materials. Students attended this course gain knowledge on bulk solids and the problems occurring during their handling process. |
Course content and structure: |
The most important types and characterisation of bulk solids. Principal rules of the moving and storing of bulk materials. Machines of the handling processes and the warehousing of bulk materials. Planning concepts and methods of transport and storage devices of bulk solids. Mathematical models of the analysis and optimisation of the handling processes and machines of different bulk materials. |
Evaluation method: |
