Providing a comprehensive knowledge on NC technology, NC technology planning and CAD/CAM systems for advanced manufacturing of different parts. |
Course content and structure: |
Classification of NC technologies and machine-tools, process of CNC manufacturing. Coordinate systems, zero-points, tool corrections. Structure of planning of CNC operations and technology. Operation instruction, tooling plan, coordinate-plan. Manual and computer aided programming. Structure of CNC programs. Computer aided programming, application of different CAD/CAM systems. Special requirement for machining of complicated surfaces and high speed machining. |
