Course objectives:
The Pneumatics and Hydraulics course is focusing on pneumatics-, electro-pneumatics, hydraulic and electrohydraulic system as a part of an actuator in a mechatronic system. The course will emphasize basic theory, components sizing, construction and function, how to read pneumatics and fluid power circuit diagrams using the correct symbols and troubleshooting techniques.
 
Course content and structure:
Fundamental of pneumatics. Air Generation and distribution. Pneumatic components. Design Procedure of Pneumatics. Example and application of pneumatic and Electro pneumatic System. Fundamental of Hydraulic. Hydraulic Fluid. Hydraulic Components.Design Procedure of Hydraulics. Example and application of Hydraulic and Electro Hydraulic System.
