Course objectives:
To provide a brief but widespread overview on the fundamental theory linear and nonlinear dynamics focusing on vibrations.
 
Course content and structure:
Dynamical problems on the field of machine tools,·Single and multi DOF systems with linear or nonlinear features, governing equations, approximations,·Ultra and subharmonic vibrations of main drives, stability problem,·Machines for complex surfaces, toothing procedures,·      Polygonal and epi-hipocycloic manufacturing machines.
