The first PhD degree within the Stipendium Hungaricum program at the István Sályi Doctoral School of Mechanical Engineering Sciences
On July 27, 2020, Haidar Faisal Helal Mobark received his PhD degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics at the István Sályi Doctoral School of Mechanical Engineering Sciences. The title of his dissertation prepared within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum program is „Fatigue Strength and Fatigue Crack Propagation Design Curves for High Strength Steel Structural Elements”, supervised by Prof. Dr. János Lukács, Institute Director, full professor. Congratulations to Iraqi student Haidar Faisal Helal Mobark for earning the PhD degree.
Zhao Lu received a PhD degree at July 14, 2020
On July 14, 2020, Zhao Lu, a doctoral student at the József Hatvany Doctoral School of Informatics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics, received a PhD degree. The title of the PhD dissertation prepared within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum program is Dynamic Modeling for Chinese Shaanxi Xi'an Dialect Visual Speech. Her supervisor was Dr László Czap, Vice-Rector for Institutional Development, Associate Professor. Congratulations to Zhao Lu Chinese student for earning the degree.
Graduation Ceremony at 6 February 2020:
The University Senate of University of Miskolc awarded PhD degree to Mr Almseidin Mohammad Abdallah Suleiman, a Jordan PhD student in Hatvany Jozsef Doctoral School of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics. The topic of his thesis work relates to Fuzzy Automaton-based Early Detection Models. The PhD study was carried out in the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship program, the supervisor was Dr. habil Szilveszter Kovács, associate professor.
On the occasion of the Days of Hungarian Science, on November 21, 2019, the József Hatvany Doctoral School of Information Sciences and the István Sályi Doctoral School of Mechanical Engineering Sciences organized a Doctoral Forum in two sections. A total of 31 PhD students delivered very high quality lectures and 11 of them were international PhD students.
