He was born in 1977, in Sajószentpéter. He graduated in 2001 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics of the University of Miskolc, as a mechanical engineer. He earned his PhD dissertation from Experimental and numerical investigation of springback of high strength steels in 2014. Director of the Institute from September 2021. His main research field are the metalforming and numerical modelling of metalforming processes.
