He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Sályi István Doctoral School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Miskolc, Hungary. His research focuses on improving the strength of lightweight materials joined through clinching (a forming process). He received both an MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Design) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, which he earned in Ethiopia. With over 8 years of experience, he has worked as a lecturer at the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. During this time, he has conducted research, managed projects, supervised thesis work and taught for both undergraduate and graduate students.
