She graduated at the Technical University of Heavy Industries as a mechanical engineer in 1982. 1982-1984 scholarship trainee, 1984-1986 lecturer, 1986-1996 assistant lecturer, 1996-2014 associate professor, 2014- professor. She got the Candidate degree (CSc) from HAS in mathematics in 1994 and the Doctor of Science degree (DSc) in Engineering sciences from HAS in 2014. She is the director of the Institute of Machine and Product Design from 2013. She is a member of several professional organizations and she was awarded by the Bolyai János Researcher Scholarship (1998-2001), and Széchenyi István Scholarship (2001-2004 ).
