Tamás Szabó, PhD, is external lecturer of the Institute of Machine Tools and Mechatronics, University of Miskolc, Hungary since February 2021. He was born in Tolcsva, Hungary in 1956. He received his mechanical engineering degree at the Technical University for Heavy Industry in Miskolc, Hungary. He received his PhD degree in 1998 at the University of Miskolc. He was working in the Numerical Mechanics Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences from 1985 until 2006. He was employed as an Associate Professor at Széchenyi István University, Hungary from 2007 until 2009. He was the head of the Robert Bosch Department of Mechatronics at the University of Miskolc between 2009-2021. Professional fields: mechatronics, robotics, numerical mechanics.
