Originating from Kazincbarcika, he learned several languages simultaneously: German, Russian, and English. He pursued his high school studies at the Russian department of Ságvári Endre Gymnasium, while also engaging in fencing, football, and volleyball. From the age of nine, he spent one month every summer in East Germany, later studying vehicle engineering at the Dresden University of Technology. In 1992, he earned a Euro-engineer degree, and in 2011, he obtained a doctoral degree in logistics from the University of Magdeburg. He began working at Borsod Volán in 1977, where he eventually became the general director. In 2011, he became an honorary university docent at the University of Miskolc, and since 2016, he has been working at the National Mobile Payment Plc. He has held leading roles in various professional and scientific organizations.
