Mr András Farkas (born 1961) finished a chemical industry secondary school and he worked for the towing division of MÁV (the Hungarian railway) from 1979 to 1999. During this time he also enrolled in the University of Miskolc in 1989 and gained a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995. Since 1999 he has been working in the Department of Fluid and Heat Engineering as a departmental engineerand laboratory leader. He also takes part in teaching.
