Born in 1961, graduated in 1984 as mechanical engineer in University of Miskolc, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, branch of Machine Design and specialization of Applied Mechanics. From October 1990 until July 1991 obtained the grant of the Swiss Federation at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Laboratoire de Conception Asssistée par Ordinateurs. In 1996 obtained his PhD, from 1999 he is an associate professor at the Institute of Machine- and Product Design at University of Miskolc. Member of GTE and ISSMO, from 1995 until 2006 he was secretary of the Committee for Scientific Research Works of Students at faculty level and university level. Research field: Finite elements and optimization of machine elements and products, multidisciplinary optimization, tribology.
