4th Géza Petrich Descriptive Geometry Competition

We warmly welcome all interested university students
to take part as active participants in the
4th Géza Petrich Descriptive Geometry Competition
Date: 18 November 2026 (Wednesday) at 16:00
Venue: University of Miskolc, Lecture Theatre XXXVII
Competition topics: problems from Géza Petrich's book Descriptive Geometry; unambiguous correspondences between 3D and 2D; Monge's projection; representation and reconstruction of truncated solids; geometric puzzles; construction of intersections; problems in kinematics.
Registration: via email at zsuzsanna.ovarine.balajti@uni-miskolc.hu, by 15 November 2026.
In addition to the top three places, the competition will award several special prizes with valuable rewards.
